We had a very strong Thunder Storm that hit Ivoti on Sunday afternoon. The storm caused the power to go out for multiple hours and lead to the cancelation of church in Sunday night. This storm was so strong that it caused water to gush out of our windows, flood our laundry room and saturate our walls. The storm did damage to the local parks and schools. We had friends who had trees fall on their houses and it makes us thankful for the safe apartment. Our well built apartment was even shaking due today the strength of the wind. James hung out with us for most of the night until he fell asleep. We were worried that the storm would cause him to not be able to sleep and affect his surgery the next day.
